Alice Foot/Rafter
Hi, I was given this link by Ricky on roots chat, he said someone may be able to help me. I have been asked by a friend if I can help her find any information about her grandmother Alice Foot. I don't have much information to go on. Alice was born in Ireland in 1917. At some point she moved to England, I am not sure if she married before or after leaving Ireland but her married name was Alice Rafter. Alice died aged 40 in 1957 in Wisbech Cambridgeshire and her children were put in a home. I am unsure where her husband disappeared to. I have searched for a death certificate but I am unable to find one for Alice Rafter or Alice Foot. Any information would be appreciated, Andrea :?
