Ancestors of Fryer Richardson born 1779 My wife is a decendant of Fryer Richardson born 1779 in the Wisbech area.
The family immigrated to United States in 1850's. Was said to be a Gentleman. The story we have is; There was a book written by Rev. William Huntington, Published in London, 1847. It was said the family was wealthy and the head of the family had backed a individual, who did not pay the debt and they lost everything and ended up in prison. i have found Fryer Richardson on a prison census. After coming to the US the family prospered and owned Banks and large tracts of land There is a Marrage to a Daughter of John Rose. In the year 1955 one of the US cousins had contact with a Mrs. E.M.Hutson, 1 Brink Place, Wisbech maiden name: Edith Mary Maxey. Would like contact with anyone with information on this linage. Regard, gtrible
