SCHOOL PARKING Now that the children are all back at school parking outside schools is becoming a problem again! A reminder to you all that illegal parking outside of our local schools will not be tolerated. This includes: - Parking / Waiting on yellow lines during the restricted periods. - Parking / Waiting on the zig-zag lines outside schools. - Unnecessary obstructions such as parking too near junctions, causing obstructions by "double parking" or causing other vehicles to take unnecessary risks such as having to pass parked vehicles by driving on the wrong side of the road in a dangerous situation such as the approach to a bend. We will be taking positive action against anyone found parking illegally, warnings will no longer be issued. Please park responsibly. It may only be a matter of time before a child is seriously injured or worse. ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR Also please report all instances of Anti-social behaviour to us on 0845 456 456 4. I have recently encountered a number of people who have not reported instances when there have occurred, but have told me about them at a later date. Please report any instances as and when they happen. WISBECH ANNUAL STATUTE FAIR Please be aware that the fair has moved into Wisbech for the forthcoming week. They have occupied the whole of Chapel Road car park near the Auction rooms and two thirds of Somers road car park behind the Post Office. Please make allowances if you are travelling into Wisbech and be aware that no current parking restrictions are being lifted. MINI MOPEDS / ILLEGAL QUAD BIKES There are known to be issues with mini mopeds in Christchurch, Leverington, Riverside Terrace Wisbech & Parson Drove. If you witness any instances anywhere, of them being ridden on the public highway or on land without permission please contact us on 0845 456 456 4 as soon as possible.
