Shipwright's Arms
Hi, Im researching my family tree, and Ive found a lot of my ancestors came from and/or lived in Wisbech. Im especially interested to find out information about the Shipwright's Arms, in Crab Marsh, during late 1800s. I believe my ggggrandfather, Joseph Parren was Innkeeper there in 1881, with his wife Lettice (Letitia) nee Rutledge. If anyone has any information on the Pub, or the Parrens living in Wisbech, Id love to hear it. thanks Cate Parren

Cate, I found a Leslie Southwell Parren (1894-1917) of Wisbech, son of John R. S. Parren (1870-) and Rose Ellen Parren (1865-). I am trying to find out their connection to the Southwell family of Wisbech. I am descended from Alfred and Rose Ellen Southwell of Wisbech and am guessing there may be a connection between our families. Can you help? Edward Southwell
